I believe institutions achieve their greatest impact when strategy, evidence,
and people work together toward a common purpose.

MY WHY
______________________
As a second-generation American, I grew up understanding the transformative power of education. My parents were the first in our family to attend college, and their example inspired me to pursue opportunities they had worked hard to create. As I navigated higher education and ultimately became the first in my family to earn a doctorate, I experienced firsthand the importance of systems that help students persist, succeed, and achieve their goals.
Throughout my career spanning K–12 and higher education, I have focused on helping organizations translate insight into action, strengthen organizational capacity, and improve outcomes for students and communities.
My work sits at the intersection of research, innovation, continuous improvement, and student success. Whether leading institutional effectiveness efforts, developing performance systems, facilitating strategic planning, or coaching leaders, I am guided by a simple question:
How can we build systems that help more students succeed?

WHAT DRIVES ME
______________________
I am energized by helping organizations move from insight to action.
Whether supporting accreditation, strategic planning, student success initiatives, or institutional effectiveness efforts, I enjoy bringing people, data, and strategy together to solve complex challenges.
The most meaningful work happens when evidence informs decisions, stakeholders share ownership, and improvement becomes part of an organization's culture.
How can we build systems that help more students succeed?

PHILOSOPHY OF IMPROVEMENT
______________________
Research matters.
Data matters.
But evidence only creates value when people understand it, trust it, and use it to make better decisions.
Sustainable improvement occurs when strategy, accountability, organizational learning, and student success are aligned around measurable goals.

THE PK-20 ADVANTAGE
______________________
Having served in both K–12 and higher education leadership roles, I understand how educational systems connect and where they often disconnect.
This perspective helps me bridge conversations around readiness, persistence, completion, workforce alignment, and long-term student success.

HOW I LEAD
______________________
I lead collaboratively and believe lasting improvement occurs when stakeholders have ownership of both the process and the outcome.
My approach emphasizes listening, facilitation, coaching, transparency, and shared accountability.
I strive to create environments where evidence informs decisions, innovation is encouraged, and continuous improvement becomes part of organizational culture.

WHY STUDENT SUCCESS MATTERS
______________________
Whether supporting schools, colleges, universities, or statewide initiatives, my focus remains the same:
Strengthening systems that expand opportunity, increase persistence, and improve outcomes for students.
I believe every student deserves access to pathways that lead to meaningful credentials, careers, and lifelong success.
The future of education depends on institutions that are willing to learn, adapt, and continuously improve on behalf of those they serve.

LEADERSHIP IN ACTION
______________________
The most meaningful moments in my career have never been the reports, plans, or presentations. They have been the students, educators, and communities whose lives were changed through the work.
